Rowena is a Lecturer in Digital Business and teaches on a variety of undergraduate modules. Her areas of expertise include digital business, digital technology, e-commerce, and international trade.
Rowena is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and holds an MBA in Executive Leadership and Management.
Before venturing into academia, Rowena distinguished herself as an entrepreneur, founding several companies, including Black & White Boutique, Franco Florenzi, and Enjiie. At 16, she began her entrepreneurial journey and subsequently earned multiple prestigious awards:
- Lloyds Bank Enterprise Awards (2014) – Best Digital Heat Winner
- Midlands Business Awards (2015) – Midlands Young Entrepreneur of the Year
- Midlands Business Awards (2015) – Exporter of the Year (Turnover under £1Million)
- Clothiers Company (2016) - Most Promising Entrepreneur
In the classroom, Rowena brings a wealth of real-world insights, drawing from her own experiences as an entrepreneur to enrich her lectures. Rowena’s aim is to prepare the next generation of business leaders for the challenges of the digital era.
Here at the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë, Rowena is the Course Leader for the UG Business programmes, in addition to the Induction Coordinator, Marketing Lead and School and College Liaison for the Business School.
