Hassan Ishfaq
Hassan achieved a First Class Honours in Computing BSc (Hons).
He said: “I feel immensely proud in achieving a First Class Honours degree. It is a statement to the hard work, time and effort put into my studies. It is one of my greatest achievements and will motivate me to continue with the same mindset beyond my undergraduate studies.”
“The pandemic meant we were not able to have face-to-face teaching, which we are so highly accustomed to,” added the former Blessed Edward Oldcorne pupil, from Worcester. “The University was swift in making the necessary changes to switch to virtual teaching, minimising disruption. The support offered was excellent, for example lecturers regularly held virtual drop-in support sessions for assignments and coursework.”
Hassan, who now hopes to pursue a career in software engineering, is confident that he made the right choice when he chose Worcester.
He said: “I chose to study at the ¾ÞÈéÎÞÂë due to the high quality of teaching offered and the range of module options which were available for my degree, allowing me to tailor my degree to my desired career path. The University is also known for its excellent employment rates after graduation.”
